Registered nurses are one of the most sought after professionals in the healthcare community. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that these professionals earn an annual median salary of $80,440. However, employers tend to choose registered nurses possessing a BSN degree over those with only an Associate’s degree or diploma. Higher degree levels also often result in higher pay. The top 10% of registered nurses in Oregon earn more than $96,000 per year.
